David W. Levinson serves as Chairman & CEO of L &L Holding Company, LLC, which he co-founded with Robert T. Lapidus in June 2000. L &L Holding Company is a privately owned real estate investment and development company. Mr. Levinson's responsibilities include the strategic direction of the Company, development, acquisitions, marketing and leasing. Since inception, L &L has acquired assets in excess of 6 million square feet of commercial office space including 425 Park Avenue, the first block-front office building built on Park Avenue since 1970. Mr. Levinson has also overseen the redevelopment of 200 Fifth Avenue, 195 Broadway, 114 Fifth Avenue, 150 Fifth Avenue, 222 Broadway and 390 Madison Avenue. These redevelopments have received over 10 property awards in a broad range of categories.

Mr. Levinson's civic responsibilities include appointments to the Executive Committee of The Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York, Board of Directors for the Municipal Arts Society, Board Member of the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts and Board Member of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation. Mr. Levinson previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Intrepid Museum for many years.

The New York Observer named Mr. Levinson one of The 100 Most Powerful People in New York Real Estate in May 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Mr. Levinson has received numerous professional and civic honors some of which include receipt of the Henry Hart Rice Award from the Real Estate Board of New York, Inc., the Ambassador to the Upper East Side Award from Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts in 2010 and an Environmental Champion Award from the New York League of Conservation Voters in 2013.
