Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Investigators of the Year

The Federal Law Enforcement is proud to announce the recipients of the Fourteenth Annual Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Investigator/Prosecutor of the Year. These awards honor representatives from each Federal Law Enforcement Investigative Agency and the offices of the United States Attorney (s) for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. The awards are designed to recognize excellence in service during the preceding year. The personnel selected for these awards are recommended by the head of each agency and approved by the Board of Directors of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation (FLEF). Award ceremonies were held prior to today's luncheon during which each recipient received his or her award.

The selecting officials for this year's candidates are: Assistant Director in Charge Joseph M. The Investigators and Prosecutors selected to receive the Annual FLEF Investigator/Prosecutor of the Year Award represent the finest in Federal Law Enforcement. It is important to note in many cases numerous investigative personnel contributed to the cases in which the recipients have been nominated. The selected recipients represent all those who have contributed to the cited highly success investigations.

The Foundation wishes to extend its appreciation to the local and state agencies that have joined federal law enforcement personnel in their battle against crime and terrorism. It is also important to note that in many cases, numerous investigative personnel contributed to the success of the investigations for which the recipients are being cited. The selected recipients not only represent their agencies but also represent those individuals who have contributed to the many highly successful investigations cited in this year's awards ceremony.
